We have diverse backgrounds in IT and specialize in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, managed IT services, and cybersecurity. Meet the leaders of Foster MSP
Darin J. Pauls
Chief Executive Officer
Darin Pauls, a founding member of Foster MSP, LLC, began his career as a tax accountant, working with small and mid-sized business owners on tax and business organization. His passion for consulting led him to specialize in IT and business systems, becoming an expert in ERP, eCommerce, financial reporting, and manufacturing systems.
Darin worked as CIO and later CFO of a rapidly growing eCommerce startup, where he built IT infrastructure, implemented ERP and warehouse management systems, and automated distribution processes, driving growth and efficiency.
Returning to consulting, he expanded IT practices for a national accounting firm and gained key vendor experience on an ERP partner advisory board.
In 2005, Darin founded Beratung, LLC, which was initially focused on ERP but quickly evolved into a full IT services firm. To manage the rapid growth of its IT and managed services division, he co-founded Foster MSP, LLC in 2014 with colleagues Bryan Hinkle and J.R. Ramos, focusing on comprehensive IT services and business consulting.
Bryan Hinkle
Chief Operating Officer
Bryan Hinkle is a founding member of Foster MSP, LLC, where he oversees all help desk operations, leveraging his ability to quickly solve complex issues.
Before Foster MSP, Bryan spent 13 years as a consultant in the ERP industry, successfully implementing various solutions while gaining expertise in accounting software and server environments. He holds certifications in Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Sage, SQL, SharePoint, and other technologies.
With extensive IT and ERP experience across multiple sectors, Bryan offers clients strategic guidance and long-term vision. Many clients, some working with him since 2002, also seek his advice on business operations and process redesign, often inviting him to boardroom discussions beyond IT and ERP matters.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University.
J.R. Ramos
Chief Technology Officer
J.R. Ramos is a founding member of Foster MSP, LLC, with over 23 years of experience as a team leader, entrepreneur, and engineering specialist. He has contributed to the success of companies such Motorola, Capgemini Ernst & Young, Perot Systems, YP.com, Iridium Satellite Communications, and various small and medium-sized businesses.
As a consultant and advisor, J.R. excels in aligning business processes with technology initiatives. He specializes in information security, compliance, telecommunications, technology operations, and systems architecture. With a passion for practical technology solutions, he has led complex international projects across industries such as healthcare, military, government, banking, environmental systems, and large-scale manufacturing.
